Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

ZOVV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Users can upload content to the Services — for example an organisation logo, files attached to a support ticket, or images and documents shared in a booking request. ZOVV does not review that content before it is posted and does not claim ownership of it. This policy explains how a copyright owner can ask us to remove material, how an affected user can respond, and what happens to accounts that repeatedly infringe.

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512 (the "DMCA"), and comparable laws elsewhere.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

Please send all copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:

Copyright Agent, WWStay Inc.

WWStay Inc. (operator of ZOVV)

440 N Wolfe Rd, #100, Sunnyvale, CA 94085-3869, USA

Email: copyright@zovv.ai

This agent is also listed in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory. The agent handles copyright matters only; for anything else, use the contact details in our Terms.

2. Filing a Notice of Infringement

If you believe that content on the Services infringes a copyright you own or control, send our agent a written notice containing all of the following (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if several works are covered by one notice).
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it — for example the URL, the organisation and the page or ticket where it appears.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Consider whether the use is fair use before sending a notice.

3. What We Do With a Notice

On receipt of a valid notice we will promptly remove or disable access to the material, notify the user who posted it (sharing a copy of the notice), record the notice against that user's account, and tell you what we did. We may refuse notices that are incomplete; we will tell you what is missing.

4. Counter-Notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our agent a counter-notice containing (17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the Northern District of California), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they tell us within ten (10) business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material within ten to fourteen (10–14) business days after receiving your counter-notice.

5. Repeat Infringers

We keep a record of valid infringement notices against each account. In appropriate circumstances, and at our discretion, we will suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. An account that is the subject of three (3) valid, uncontested notices within twelve (12) months is presumed to be a repeat infringer.

6. Trademark and Other Claims

This policy covers copyright. For trademark, privacy, or other complaints about user content, write to the same agent and describe the right you believe is affected; we will route it to the appropriate team.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Questions about this policy can be sent to copyright@zovv.ai.
